how how can you say that soil contains air

Take some dirty soil in a glass. Add water carefully along the edges. You will see bubbles of air coming out from the soil. This is the proof.

Hi to prove this you have to do a following activity
Take a beaker put a handful of soil in it , Now add some water in it .You will observe some bubbles will come out of it . So these bubbles helps us to know that soil has air in it
