How hydrogen and hydroxyl ion concentration gets affected in acidic and basic solutions respectively when (i) an acidic solution is further diluted (ii) more amount of base is added to a basic solution?

When the solution of acid is diluted the H+ ions are released from the acid to combine with H2O and H3O+ ions is increased.
