A ketone Cannot be converted into a primary alcohol .It can be converted into a secondary alcohol by a variety of methods.

If your Question was Acetone ---->2Methyl Propan-2-ol

then Use Ch3MgBr(Griganalds Reagent )

and Hydrolysis but DO NOT HEAT as it goes to alkenes on Heating.
