Hello! There is no need to worry! I was like you getting low marks 19/40 or 38/80 when I increased my confidence and reached 78/80. Maybe you can watch videos on Khan Academy where you can get your basics right. You can try a 15 days trial at Byjus and if you have any doubts, you can ask it to your teacher or here. Don't think what others say and have focus on yourself. Even if you get the tiniest doubt, don't keep it to yourself but instead ask it to your teacher immediately. Follow this and you will see your marks rise. In case your basics are too weak ( you have problem understanding previous class questions too, Solve those questions first and then your current class. It may take time but it is the best thing to do!
