How i help my mother in Diwali
Diwali is the most important festival in our house. It is celebrated with great pomp and grandeur. Once Diwali is near our house dotes a new look.
All curtains are changed, brassware polished, floors scrubbed and the house cleaned. I help my Mother with all the nitty gritty. I fix the curtains, oil the lamps, clean my room, mow the garden.
The chore I best enjoy is helping mother make the sweets. Grinding the coconut, stirring it with sugar and milk, shaping them into tiny snowy balls is all so lovely especially popping some into the mouth when Mother isn't watching.
I also love to wrap the Diwali gifts in nice colourful paper. I love everything about Diwali. I love helping mother dear.
