It is a daily necessity that we cannot live without and plays a huge role in the well being and survival of human beings. Not only does it help us in our daily lives, but it also ensures our own health and welfare. It is needed in almost all that we do, and there can be no individual who can say that he can live or survive without water.
Recently, I was given a project where I had to spread awareness to my friends about the need to save water and be conscious of how we utilize them. And in order to do that, I made a number of flyers and pamphlets to help spread more awareness, not just through my words but so that they will remember what I say. In these flyers and pamphlets, I mentioned how the earth is surviving on the water that we humans seem to think ours, and how we need to conserve it for the betterment of the future and for the future generations.
First, I led them through their daily lives, asking about how they commonly do. And from then on, I tried to specify how they can help conserve water in such a way that they can do their needs while still reducing the amount of water they use. By advising them to turn off the taps while washing, or not pouring water unnecessarily and letting the water run unnecessarily, I told them about how these little amounts of waste that they let go of will have a huge impact in the future.
Moreover, I also reiterated the need to be conscious of how they use water, and why it is needed to help save and conserve it. I told them about the ways I did my part, even though at times it may be little. By taking the water in a mug or bucket and using them only when required. Also, reusing the water used for cleaning vegetables for watering the plants, or the rinsing water for mopping the floors, etc all help in saving the extra use of water. Such ways may seem trivial, but in the long run, they help save up more water than we may even imagine.
