Summer time is a treat for all the students struggling the whole year with exams and assignments. This is the time when they can spend their days doing whatever they want without any restrictions and pressure of parents or teachers. Most of the students along with their parents or friends prefer to go to some hill station or to their village or for other outings to relax. But holidays can also be fun when they are spent staying at home.
Things I Did Staying at Home
This summer I decided to stay at my home during summer vacation instead of going anywhere for trip. To spend my time fruitfully, I joined classes where I learned canvas painting and along with it, I also started learning table tennis. During the afternoons, I helped my mom in kitchen and also assisted my dad with some accounts related tasks. This was the best time where I felt more close to and involved with my family. Then, for the remaining time I went out with friends. I also spent some time watching movies and web series. Besides entertainment, these shows and movies also taught me some life lessons.
Conclusion
So, this summer vacation was spent getting closer to myself and my family which I wasn’t able to do during my academic year. I realized how fruitful and satisfying can it be to spend holidays at home.

Though Summer is a hot season still it is liked by all students studying whole year. It is time to relax and to move out of home and enjoy the world. This year too I along with my parents went out to enjoy vacations. Since it was quite hot so we decided a three day tour to Shimla as it is a cool place. It is one of the wonderful hill stations. We went there by our car and thus reached there by evening. When we reached there it was raining heavily. My father had hardly founded a hotel as due to vacation all hotels were full. We went in the room
We freshned ourselves then we went out for dinner. Next morning,we booked a taxi that took us all over Shimla. We went to adventurous park named hip hip hooray. Then we did horse-riding. We also went to a temple. Next day we went back.
