Answer:

Now, I am writing this article to give honour to all the loving & caring mothers all over the world. Allow me to share what it’s like to be a daughter of a mother who selflessly loved her children for almost 18 years now. Humbly, I could say that people around me have always said that my parents were able to rear me as a fine young lady. My mentors and some elders also said that I am a living proof of a good parents’ product –that my responsible parents reared me well. Perhaps, let me tell you how I’ve grown into a responsible, hardworking, goal-oriented, dedicated young lady –as other people described me. Through this article, I would like to share what it’s like to become a mother with each and every second of her life –my mother’s daily routine.

In the morning:

Early in the morning, she wakes us up at 5am. When everyone’s already up from bed, she’ll get the flat iron, press all our uniforms and prepare them. When everyone’s done taking a bath, she’ll remind us to drink our , take our vitamins and eat our breakfast. When we’re all set for school and office, she’ll give us all a warm hug & a loving kiss on the cheeks. Before we leave the house, she would remind us to text her when we reach school, and for papa –his office. After we leave the house and she’s left alone in the house with my cuddly shi-tzu, mom would take a nap for an hour. She, then wakes up at 9am and prepare the viand for dinner. After she’s done cooking for dinner, my mom would prepare the laundry basket so that our clothes are all ready for the arrival of the laundry shop’s clothes fetcher. At 11am she prepares herself for office.

In the afternoon:

She arrives at the office at 1pm and there she starts to get all her work done. When the afternoon is almost over, my mom would give us all a call to make sure that everyone’s home (well except for me, since she work & I study at the same school) and asks us how was our day and if we need her to buy us anything for the next school day. When the clock strikes at 8, mom and I would start packing up our things and wait for my dad’s phone call. Upon the arrival of papa, mom and I leaves the office, then we drive our way home. Upon reaching home, mom and I gets the table ready for dinner. After preparing, I would call out for my siblings and dad. When everyone’s in the table, we start with our dinner. Every dinner time, we would share not only the food, but also the stories and the gags that make us all laugh.

Late in the evening:

After dinner, mom would wash the plates and I would clean the table. After all the work is done, we, both prepare ourselves for sleep. But before the day ends, she makes sure that we’re all in bed –and for her to have an assurance that we’re able to sleep well & comfortable, she gives us a massage to lighten up our tired and “heavy-feeling” bodies. Finally, the day is over but the days for the new sweet & caring moments of a mother her children are continuous.

In my 18 years of existence, I’ve experienced the fortunate days of a daughter having a loving, sweet and caring mother. I have nothing to ask from God, in fact I am the one who owe a lot from Him. He gave me a mother that no other woman could replace. I love my mother and someday, I’m gonna’ be as good as her. When the time comes that I’d also have my own kids, I will be as responsible as my mom. I will make my kids experience what my mom made experience and along with that, I’ll also exert every effort to be the best wife. Before, in my younger days… I was afraid of experiencing motherhood, I didn’t want to have a child. But now I realize that women are meant to become the best mothers the world could ever have. We are meant to give birth of a child who would soon grow into a responsible individual, who is accountable for his or her actions and who would someday contribute to the wellness of his/her nation… -this is the real essence of being a woman.
