Yes it is important to think. Actually from my point of view everyone thinks. For example some people think about their job se children think what will happen in the examination. I have been trying to find out the origin of the strange meme that the average person has "70000 thoughts per day".That's lot of thought. It is about 3000per hour or 50 per minute just under one per second. It is not possible that someone stops thinking. Every person thinks.
