the policeman,jimmy wells,looked quite impressive while moving up the avenue at night.His impressiveness was habitual and not for show,for the spectators were few. He was devoted to his duty and had a watchful eyes showed that he was proud and honest police officer . He made a fine picture of a guardian of peace in that chilly night of mid -january . Moreover ,his verbal encounter with bob makes the readers feel that the policeman Jimmy wells was quite impressive.
