how improper fraction comes in the part of fractions fractions definition tell that fraction is a part of whole and the solution of fractionis always be smaller than 1 and Dis bigger thanN ...So tell the answer....

A fraction represents equal part(s) of a whole. A fraction whose numerator is greater than or equal to the denominator is known as an improper fraction. The value of an improper fraction is always greater than one or equal to one.

You cannot say the value of a fraction will always be smaller than one. Now on the other hand emphasis on the term "IMPROPER". This type of fraction is improper, so it is only called as "IMPROPER FRACTION".

In the fraction 3/5, 3 is called the numerator and 5 is called the denominator and it represents that 3 equal parts out of 5 parts of a wholr are taken.

Clearly, some structures of fractions like (10/3, 8/5, 9/4, etc.) are not proper but they also have numerator and denominator, and as a result, they can be termed as "FRACTIONS". But, these fractions are always improper and improper fractions should always be converted to mixed fractions.

45/8 is a improper fraction, i.e., it is not a proper fraction because only 8 parts are available and of course out of 8 parts, we cannot take 45 equal parts.

So, we can convert it into a mixed fraction like under :

 \frac{45}{8} = 5 \frac{5}{8}

Now, you can point out the section "5/8" which is also a proper fraction.
