In early 18th century, people used woods for building railway lines.
Due to this process, the government needed a lots of woods to be supplied.
Railways was needed very badly as they helped in easy transportation of goods to harbours. Hence Railway line was extended.
This expansion led to large felling of trees from government occupied estates due to which massive scale deforestation occurred.
So this led to loss of habitat for both tribes as well as fauna of that area.
Hence Expansion of Railway lines was a major cause of Deforestation.
