British needed forests in order to build ships and railways and many more. It was badly affected by the forest dwellers such as;
1.)Due to these act's all the economic activities like cutting wood, grazing cattle, collecting fruits and roots, hunting and fishing were declared illegal.
2.)The locals were at mercy of the police and the forest guards who demanded bribes from them.
3.)One major impacts of European colonialism was on the practice of shifting cultivation agriculture.
4.)The new forest laws changed the lives of forest dwellers in yet, another way .
5.)Customary practice was prohibited by the forest law's.

1.The villagers were facing a lack of "Wood".


2.Shortage of leaves which they use to blow fire and keep themselves warm in the winter.


3.Leaves are also used to feed the cattle.


4.Less rainfall was occuring due to less number of trees.


5.So,For all the reasons mentioned above,Pollution was also Increasing.
