when we talked about industrialisation it had inserted great pressure on existing freshwater resources in India as freshwater is a kind of basic need a requirement for the production is a kind of basic need a requirement for the production of various goods which that industry produce as due to the increase of these industries the requirement of water or fresh water has reached to great extent and as a result exerting much pressure over existing freshwater resources.
and then we talked about urbanization the more and more people are settling in urban areas increases the requirement of freshwater for their daily basic needs including fresh drinking water and as well as fresh water for making food and other works as well as due to great increasing the rate of urbanization more and more people are settling and this is exerting a great pressure over the existing freshwater resources in India
