Industrialisation was a blessing to factory owners as they could increase the rate of production and output using machinery. Thanks to the efficient working of machines, less number of people were required and high quality goods were made. The work was done faster and due to all these factors, the cost of prduction became less. The goods were very cheap in the market.
On the other hand, it affected artisans and craftsmen. They couldn't compete with the cheap goods in the market. For example, the weavers and hand loom workers of India were badly affected by the mill-made cloth made in Britain. They couldn't work as fast as the machines and thus output was low.
