How is 1 + 4 = 12²?

shadowsabers03: Bro., 1 + 4 = 10 x 14 + 4 = 144 = 12^2

where, a + b = 10(10a + b) + b = 100a + 10b + b,

which is decimally written as a/b/b. [Decimally means to split the digits.]
shadowsabers03: Thank you.
tawaseem: Now give your answer,brother!
shadowsabers03: Of course!!!

It's 1 + 4 = 10 \times 14 + 4 = 140 + 4 = 144 = 12^2.

Because it's in the algebraic form,

a + b = 10(10a + b)+b = 100a+10b+b, \\ \\

which is decimally expressed as a/b/b.

where a \neq 0

[Decimally means to write a number by splitting the digits.]

Here, 1 + 4 = 1/4/4 = 144 = 12^2

Another examples which satisfy the form:

1)\ 1+0=10^2 \\ \\ \Rightarrow\ 1+0=1/0/0 = 100=10^2 \\ \\ \\ 2)\ 4+0=20^2 \\ \\ \Rightarrow\ 4+0= 4/0/0=400=20^2 \\ \\ \\ 3)\ 9+0=30^2 \\ \\ \Rightarrow\ 9+0=9/0/0=30^2 \\ \\ \\ 4)\ 16+0=40^2 \\ \\ \Rightarrow\ 16+0=16/0/0 \\ \\ \\ 5)\ 25+0=50^2 \\ \\ \Rightarrow\ 25+0=25/0/0=2500=50^2

6)\ 14+4=38^2 \\ \\ \Rightarrow\ 14+4=14/4/4=1444=38^2 \\ \\ \\ 7)\ 38+4=62^2 \\ \\ \Rightarrow\ 38+4=38/4/4=3844=62^2 \\ \\ \\ 8)\ 77+4=88^2 \\ \\ \Rightarrow\ 77+4=77/4/4=7744=88^2 \\ \\ \\ 9)\ 125+4=112^2 \\ \\ \Rightarrow\ 125+4=125/4/4=12544=112^2 \\ \\ \\ 10)\ 190+4=138^2 \\ \\ \Rightarrow\ 190+4=190/4/4=19044=138^2

Etc.

Hope this helps. ^_^
