How is a bacterial cell different from an onion cell in terms of nucleus, chromosome number and its shape?
Answers
Answer:
Onion Cell and Bacterial Cell. It is a eukaryotic cell.It is a prokaryotic cell.It has a well developed nucleus.Nucleus is not present. It has several membrane bound organelles. No membrane bound organelles are present.DNA is present inside nucleus.Circular DNA is present in cytoplasm.Plant cell usually has large vacuoles to retain water inside which keeps the cell rigid. Otherwise the cell becomes flaccid. The mechanism that is responsible here is Osmosis. The water that is present inside the vegetables comes out as the solute concentration outside increases by adding salt in it. i hope it helpful for u plzzz marks as brillant answer.
Answer: In terms of nucleus - The bacterial cell won't have a well defined nucleus because it belong to the group of prokaryotes but onion cell have a well defined nucleus as it belong to the eukaryotes .
Chromosome number - The bacterial cell won't have more chromosome because it is a prokaryote and also won't have more information in it but onion cell have more chromosome as it is a prokaryote and also onion posses more generic material of colour , shape , size , etc......
Shape - Bacterial cell is smaller than that of onion cell . It will to too tiny compared to onion cell .
