the fuse wire is made by a material which have very high melting point becouse in a case when large amount of current flow through it then during it melt and circuit becomes incomplete so the current not reach to a substances such as bulb television etc becomes safe

Fuse is always put in series with other appliances in electric circuit.

It is used in an electric circuit due to its low melting point. It limits the current in an electric circuit
