Glands are relatively simple organs that produce, store and secrete chemicals for use by the body. For example, the venom gland of snakes produce and store venom, which is then secreted to the fangs when the snake bites. The mucus gland of amphibians produce and store mucus, which is secreted when needed. Lungs are not glands because they are not used to produce and store chemicals. Lungs instead extract oxygen from the air you breathe in and also gets rid of carbon dioxide your body produces. Kidneys perform several important functions, including removing excess organic molecules from blood, regulating electrolytes, maintaining acid-base balance, regulating salt balance, diverting waste products to the bladder, and producing urine to get rid of nitrogen waste. Although kidneys do produce a couple of hormones, they are not glands because they do not only produce, store and secrete these hormones.

The pancreas is an endocrine gland. It produces, stores, and secretes several different hormones. The stomach and intestine are digestive organs, as they break down food particles so that nutrients can be absorbed by the body. The pancreas also produces, stores and secretes chemicals to help digest food. It is therefore also considered a part of the digestive system.

Gland is a group of cells in an animal's body that synthesizes substances (such as hormones) for release into the bloodstream(endocrine gland) or into cavities inside the body or its outer surface (exocrine gland).

Yes, we can say that stomach, pancreas or intestine are glands beacuase

STOMACH is not a gland. But stomach has multiple small glands, distributed throughout its inner surface, which secrete digestive enzymes

PANCREAS have both endocrine and exocrine gland present in them

INTESTINE contains the intestinal gland
