How is a map more useful than a Globe?

Maps provide more information than a globe. A globe can be useful when we want to study the earth as a whole. But when we want to study only a part of the earth, as about a country or a state, globe is of little help. In such a situation only maps are useful.

map is very easy to carry it can be carried in a pocket but a globe cannot be carried as easily as a map

there are different kinds of maps that is map on basics on cities ,states ,country and world so that it gives more information.but a globe shows only the earth not of the country
