How is a political parties recognised as a National PARTIES​

National parties

A registered party is recognised as a national party only if it fulfils any one of the following three conditions: A party should win 2% of seats in the Lok sabha from at least three different states. A party gets recognition as a state party in four states.

1. A party that secures at least 6% of the total votes in Lok Sabha elections ar Assembly elections in 4 states and wins at least 4 seats in the Lok Sabha is recognised as national party.
