how is a prokaryotic cell different from a eukaryotic cell?

prokaryotic- pro means primitive Karyon means nucleus.. a prokaryotic cell has a primitive type of nucleus(nucleoid).. it does. not have a nucleus .and the nucleoid is not bound by any membrane

Pro means primitive and karyon means nucleus Prokaryotic cells are those cells which do not have well developed nucleus
Eu means well developed karyon means nucleus Eukaryotic cells are those cells which have well developed nucleus
