How is a spherical mirror used diverge a beam of light from the point?

A concave mirror. If parallel rays of light falls on a concave mirror, the reflected rays converge to the focus of the mirror.

spherical mirror is a type of convex mirror as we see its outside surface and concave from inside but we see it as convex,so when a beam of light strikes its surface,as surface is not plane,it is diverged to a much more extend as used at road corners so the driver can see what's coming from other side,
