how is a wooden torch a luminous object and a lit wood plank a non luminous object, and if a wooden torch is a non luminous object the hom is a candle a luminous object​

Wooden torch is luminous because it has a light source like bulb or any. in it but a wood plank does not have any light source or reflecting capacity .

When a wooden touch is NOn luminous when it's light source is off or broke and a wick of a candle is lightened it is a luminous object

However wooden touch or candle can't emit light on its own..
