how is acceleration due to gravity related to first mass of planets second distance of body from the centre of Earth

1. The acceleration due to gravity is directly proportional to the mass of the planet.

i.e. g ( gravitational acceleration ) ∝ m ( mass of the planet ) 


2. The acceleration due to gravity is inversely proportional to the square of the distance of the body from the center of the earth.

i.e. g ( gravitational acceleration ) ∝ 1 /  r^{2} ( distance of the body from the center of the earth )
