Hey dude...

The oxides of nitrogen,sulphur and carbon when mix with the rain water forms acids like nitric,carbonic and sulphuric...It cause acid rain..

when oxides of sulphur and nitrogen react with water vapour and form sulphuric acid and nitric acid respectively and precipitate along with water droplets then the rain is called acid rain
