In this period, adolescents experience several mental and physical changes in their body.  The glands in our body will start producing hormones during adolescence.There will be development of sexual organs in boys and girls. Adolescence starts from the age of 12 and ends at the age of 18.

For example, the chest of boys becomes more wider and girls start to develop breasts.

Childhood -  Childhood is the phase of life between the birth to the age of around 12 years.Childhood is the time for children to be in school and at play, to grow strong and confident with the love and encouragement of their family and an extended community of caring and loving adults.
