The changes seen in the ages 13-19 years period is called "Adolescence"
During this period child's body undergoes changes like physically as well as mentally.

Childhood is a period of time in a human life where as they are learning and copying insights from their parents and at school etc, it is also considered,in my point of view, to be the most fun-filled optimistic time in one's lifespan. Adolesent on the other hand, is the period of time in between adulthood and child hood.In this period kids become teenagers.During this time the individual would experience changes in all aspects of their lives.they will begin to mature and the hormones that is carried out by the pituatary gland will bring about things like the menstrual cycle in girls etc.
I hope you find this relavant to what you have asked for, thank you.
