The main difference between agamospermy and parthenogenesis and parthenocarpy is that in agamospermy process seed is produced whereas in parthenogenesis and parthenocarpy processes seed is not produced.
EXPLANATION:
AGAMOSPERMY:
- It is a process in which seeds are produced from unfertilized ovules of fruits or vegetables.
- Example: mango, prickly pear, citrus fruit etc.
PARTHENOGENESIS:
- It is a natural process. It is also a type of asexual reproduction process which leads to production of embryos without fertilization.
PARTHENOCARPY:
- It means forking fruit. It can be achieved artificially or naturally. It leads to production of fruits without fertilization of ovules.
