Earlier, Bangladesh was a part of India.But it was seperated in 1971 beacuse the borders of of modern Bangladesh was formed after the partition of india and Bengal.Then Bangladesh became a part of Pkistan but it was also seperated from pakistan and beacme an independent nation. Bengladesh was east bengal during that time but when it seperated got a new name Bangla Desh.
