how is bituminous coal different from lignite coal?

  • it contain 65% of carbon and It is second grade of coal.
  • calorific value is very high.
  • example is used for producing fuel ,coke.

  • it contain 38% of carbon and it's third grade of coal.
  • used for making fuels.
  • it it is used for electric power generation (NTPC)
