The Bombay High is an Offshore oil field located off the coast of Mumbai in the Arabian Sea at a distance of approximately 160 kilometers and is run by the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC).

It has two blocks of oil field that are known as Mumbai High North (MHN) and the Mumbai High South (MHS) that produce 12 MMT of oil in a year.

The Mumbai High is the largest oil refinery in the country and produces 63 percent of petroleum that is a massive amount by any stretch of imagination.

Therefore, it contributes to the development of the country in a very large way.
