Brain is covered by a membrane called meninges. Space between the membrane is filled with a fluid called CSF - cerebro spinal fluid.
It protects the brain from mechanical shocks.
Parts of hind brain: medulla , cerebellum.
1) medulla: it connects spinal cord with other parts of the body.
2) cerebellum: it maintains the balance of the body and co-ordinates muscular activities.
