Business is different from the profession on the following basis:

1) Business is solely based on earning profit whereas a profession involves both services as well as earning profit through the service availed.

2) Business doesn't require any kind of special knowledge whereas a profession requires some kind of skill or knowledge or maybe practical experience.

3) A business needs advertisements in order to make it known and grow but there is nothing like that in a profession.
