(1) large, flat feet - to spread their weight on the sand.

(2) thick fur on the top of the body for shade, and thin fur elsewhere to allow easy heat loss.

(3) a large surface area to volume ratio - to maximise heat loss

Camels live in deserts, where it is hot and dry. Camels have adapted and found ways to help them survive in deserts. They have a thick coat of hair that protects them from the heat in the day, and keeps them warm at night. 

3 Adaptations of Camels:-

● They have wide feet for walking in sand.

● They have long eyelashes and thin, slit nostrils that they can close to protect them from blowing sand.

● They are adapted to survive a long time without water and food.
