casteism is harmful as this can cause a lot of people to start fighting or cause a huge uproar or argument which social group is better than the other this can end up in the loss of lot of people's life .not only that politicians big party members might even take advantage of this situation and get a lot of votes for their party by manipulating their minds with help of a sense of collective identitiy .this can cause a lot of unhealthy competion and can easily corrupt or ruin the lives of the youth
