How is chemical reduction different from electrolytic reduction?
Answers
hi mate ur ans.......
In electrolytic reduction current is passed through the metal oxide to reduce it to pure metal whereas in electrolytic refining the impure metal is converted into pure metal. Some of the differences are given below: ... whereas in electrolytic reduction molten chloride form of the solution is used.
hope it help u mark me as brainlist...
ANSWER
Chemical Reduction:
1). The reduction of any compound or molecules using a chemical substance without applying any external agency such as current or electrolytes etc.
2). It's reduction due to movement of atoms.
Electrolytes Reduction:
1). The reduction process is carried out by creating a potential difference between two electrode using electrolytes as medium and electricity as external agency.
2). It's reduction basically due to movement of charge specially electron not atoms from one molecules to other.
