How is chloride of lime chemically different from calcium chloride?​

Chloride of lime is calcium oxychloride which is also known as bleaching powder. Calcium chloride is CaCl2. Bleaching powder loses its chlorine on exposure to air because carbon dioxide gas present in air reacts with it to evolve chlorine gas.
