how is chloride of lime chemically different from calcium chloride? why does chloride of lime gradually loses its chlorine when kept exposed to air?​

It is usually stored in sealed containers because the naturally existing carbon dioxide in air decomposes chloride of lime forming Chlorine gas and Calcium Carbonate
