how is CNG obtained? what are its main uses?

Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) is obtained by drilling holes into the rocks and then inserting pipeline into that areas and the pipes suck the natural gas.
CNG is a fule which can be used in place of gasoline (petrol) , disel fuel and LPG its use is also increasing in south America,Europe and north America because of rising gasoline prices.

CNG is obtained in the following way -

• At first,the natural gas is obtained from the underground deposits. This natural gas is an efficient fuel.

• Later,the natural gas is compressed to the 1% of the actual volume of the gas and then the compressed gas is stored in metal cylinders in the form of CNG or Compressed Natural Gas.

The main uses of the CNG are -

• The CNG is used as a major source of industrial fuel.

• The CNG is also used in different types of vehicles.
