CNG stands for Compressed Natural Gas
Formation:
CNG is made by compressing natural gas,(mainly composed of methane, CH4), to less than 1 percent of the volume. It is stored and distributed in hard containers, at high pressure, usually in cylindrical shapes.
Uses:
- It is used in traditional internal combustion engine automobiles.
- In response to high fuel prices and environmental concerns, CNG is starting to be used also in pickup trucks, school buses, and trains.
