CONVECTIONAL This type of rainfalls characteristic of hot climates The Sun heats the ground and water evapouras As water vapour rises, it cools When water vapour cools, it condenses and forms droplets that form clouds and fall to the Earth as rain.

In equatorial regions there is a uniformly high temperature throughout the year.this leads to intense heating of land which sets up strong conventional currents.
