Hi , I think this will be useful for u

Answer

It is just by heating it's ore in air or through roasting which is heating strongly in presence of excess air.

It first converts into cuprous oxide and on further heating it is reduced to

Copper.

Reaction-

2Cu2S + 3O2 gives on heating 2Cu2O + 2SO2

2CU2O + CU2S on heating 6Cu + SO2.

If there is any doubt u can ask in comments and if u think it's useful plzz mark as brainiest .

Thank u .
