The dam is called multipurpose because the dam water will use in many ways. The advantages of dams are saving money I am saying this because many people will buy water to their fields (2)saving water (3) helping for poor
The disadvantages for dams coming floods when over water is saved not releasing water at some times if the water is polluted the people will auffer

We can store water in dame...a lot of water can be stored...if it is placed or constructed in a village it is helpful to all the villagers.....it helps the poor.....people no need to suffer for water
