Ozone layer is around the Earth and it protects our Earth . If it damages then the harmful UV Rays from the Sun reaches our Earth. Those rays are so dangerous that it can cause skin cancer in human beings and has many more harmful effects. The main reason for its damage are the CFC's that are used in refrigerators. But now the use of CFC's have been banned.
