Answer:

Plants absorb water from the soil and evaporates it to form clouds. Deforestation leads to cutting down of trees. As a result less water is absorbed from the soil and it disturbs the water cycle. The formation of clouds becomes difficult which leads to reduced rainfall.

Answer:

plants carry out a process known as transpiration, in which water is evaporated from the leaves of the plant and these evaporated droplets condense to form clouds and cause rain. If trees would be more then more transpiration will take place and in deforestation trees are cut down and no. of trees decreases and less transpiration takes place.

Explanation: Hence, deforestation affects rainfall
