How is dehydration helpful in food preservation??

dehydration remove moisture from the food and prevent microbial growth as microbes grow in moisture

Dehydration takes out much of the moisture from the food. Moisture provides favorable conditions for the growth of microorganisms which spoil the food . So by removing moisture food can be preserved for a long time.
