Answer: Democracy is an accountable form of government as it makes sure the people get what they want. it allows the citizens to supervise on the rules of the govt offering transparency. it takes time to decide the rules for the people so that they dont propose a rule for the majority. they follow procedures and want the citizens to take part in the decision making.

People have the right to elect the rulers and participate in decisions that affect them all government thus is accountable to citizens and responsive to their needs and expectations. democracy is based on the idea of deliberation and negotiation as it results in delays it insures that decision making is based on norms and allow transparency
