democracy is able to handle differences btw diff. ethnic groups bcz it is a kind of govt in which people rule themselves through govt institution..
in democracy, power is shared btw diff ethnic groups giving free ñ fair spaces to backward groups..this power sharing btw the groups avoids conflicts..
moreover democracy enhances one's dignity and promotes equality among people...
