Diffusion is movement of of molecules from the region of their higher concentration to the region of their lower concentration whereas Osmosis is the movements of molecules from the region of their higher concentration to the region of their lower concentration through Semi Permeable Membrane.

Osmosis- A process by which molecules of a solvent tend to pass through a semipermeable membrane from a less concentrated solution into a more convertible one.

Diffusion- The spreading out and mixing of a substance with another substance due to the motion of its particles is called diffusion.
